Course Description

The Math Olympiad Series helps to prepare students for any upcoming Math competitions through practice and testing. The Junior book is the perfect prerequisite to the Beginner book of the Math Olympiad series. Learning the fundamentals and perfecting them with practice will encourage students to progress through the book as they advance academically. They will learn to sharpen their knowledge and their problem-solving skills of previously familiarized material. This Junior course will not only acquaint basic mathematical concepts to the young mind but will also teach students to think outside the box when it comes to solving both routine and advanced problems introduced in subsequent books in the series. Students will learn new methodologies that will teach them how to creatively solve advanced math equations while under pressure. Students will be taught the Q-E-D (Quite Easily Done) method of learning where they apply elegant and efficient solutions to complex problems. While Math Olympiad is available for all levels, this course along with this book, will focus on the basics and is recommended for ages 7-8+ students.
