Math- Pre-Algebra
Prealgebra is a math course that prepares students what they need to know when entering the Algebra class regime in middle school. This course will also prepare students by showing them techniques and skills that they can use to prepare for Math contests such as MATHCOUNTS, MOEMS, and the AMC 8. Just some of the many topics covered in this course includes: metic, exponents, primes and divisors, fractions, equations and inequalities, decimals, ratios and proportions, unit conversions and rates, percents, square roots, basic geometry (angles, perimeter, area, triangles, and quadrilaterals), statistics, counting and probability, and more! The course and the textbook will be structured to encourage students to keep sharp with their skills as they continue to use them throughout their educational journey.
